How long is the training?

This 13½–week training program includes: 5 weeks of training, 3½ weeks of internship (1½ weeks on an internal project with Careerist and 2 weeks on a real-work project with our partner), and 5 weeks of Career Coaching. While 13½ weeks is our recommended timeline, our program is flexible and can extend to accommodate your schedule.

When are the live lessons?

There may be 1-3 live sessions per week, and you can select the program arrangement that suits your schedule, choosing your availability for live workshops. 

Additionally, you will have the flexibility to watch recorded sessions in your Careerist Learning Space at your convenience.

Do I need coding experience to become a QA Engineer?

No! You don’t need any technical background, coding experience, or a certain degree. The vast majority of our most successful graduates don’t have any prior tech experience. Our program is structured to teach you everything you need to know to become a successful QA Engineer.

Do I need to quit my current job during the internship?

You don’t! The internship is remote and you can set your own schedule (as long as you meet the deadlines). We recommend setting aside several hours a day for 5 days a week during your internship.

Is the internship paid?

This program doesn’t offer paid internships. However, your internship is a vital part of your plan to land your first job in tech. The internship will help you practice your new skills hands-on, and also provide you with references and content for your LinkedIn and resume.
